Maintenance: May 2026
Maintenance is scheduled for several ARCC resources. This is expected to take place
the week beginning Monday, May 25 through Friday, May 29, 2026 and several ARCC services
will be affected during that time.
Until maintenance is completed, it is recommended that any users accessing Medicinebow
using the OnDemand web interface NOT update to Firefox v148 on their local machines as this can cause issue with Medicinebow
OnDemand Web accessibility. In the event you do have Firefox v148 installed on your
local machine and encounter problems accessing Medicinebow, we recommend you use a
different browser to access Medicinebow OnDemand until after scheduled maintenance.
During our scheduled maintenance, our team will perform updates to the Medicinebow
SLURM job scheduler, correct issues related to access of Medicinebow OnDemand services
and perform updates to VAST storage.
Maintenance is expected to effect availability of the following resources:
- Medicinebow Cluster Compute
- SLURM job scheduling
- data storage
- Web Access through OnDemand
- AI4WY Cluster Compute and storage
- Access to storage on the cluster
- Data-Portal Storage (including Alcova)
- Other specialty storage services
Users should plan to complete work on the Medicinebow and AI4WY clusters, access data
on their data-portal allocations and any specialty storage allocations outside the
scheduled maintenance window.
