Entomology
Cratypedes lateritius (Saussure)

Cratypedes lateritius is a grasshopper from the Great Basin area that has seldom been collected in Wyoming.
It is reported from sagebrush areas in Idaho. Adults have been reported from May to
August in Idaho. A two-year life cycle probably occurs. Its feeding preferences are
not well known, and due to scarcity it has no economic importance in Wyoming.
