Trimerotropis gracilis (Thomas)
Trimerotropis gracilis is most common in the desert and dry grassland of western Wyoming. It prefers areas
with bare soil between sagebrush or patches of grass. Its population diminishes in
the denser grasses of eastern Wyoming and does not occur east of Wyoming. Adults are
common from mid July through August. Although widely dispersed, population densities
are usually low. It is not considered an economic pest in Wyoming.
