The IECM currently uses Code::Blocks () as its Integrated Development Environment (IDE), and is compiled using the TDM-GCC compiler suite (), which includes GCC/G++ and GFortran.
The interface is written in C++, using the wxWidgets Graphical User Interface (GUI) library (), while the underlying engineering models are written in Fortran. The necessary runtime libraries are included with the IECM Interface software.
All databases are in SQLite () format.
The installer is built using InnoSetup ().
