Chad Hutchens
Chair, Digital & Distinctive Collections

Biography:
Chad Hutchens is the current Chair of Digital Collections. He holds a BA and MA in
Classics from CU Boulder and a MLIS from the University of Texas at Austin. He can
answer questions about data management, scholarly communication, copyright, repositories
hosted at UW (including WyoScholar, Data, and WyoDigital), and 2D and 3D scanning.
He is particularly interested 3D imaging as a means for preservation as well as Digital
Scholarship and computational methods in the Humanities. In his free time he enjoys
fishing and hiking with his two dogs, working on his classic car, and following college
football, especially the Texas Longhorns.
