What to Expect Once admitted
Send Official Transcripts
Your official transfer credit evaluation cannot begin until UW receives official transcripts from every college or university you've attended. Ask each institution to send your transcripts directly to the UW Office of ÃÛÑ¿TV. This is the first and most important step in the transfer process.
Check Your UWyo Email
Be sure to regularly check your University of Wyoming email, located in the WyoWeb portal. This is where all of your UW communication will be sent. Check it often so you know when your evaluation is complete.
Review Your Evaluation
After your evaluation is complete, review your transfer credits in . You'll see which courses transferred, how they were evaluated and whether they were awarded as direct equivalents or elective credit.
Meet with Your Advisor
While a course may transfer to UW, it may not fulfill a requirement for your major. Your academic college will provide info about advising and your advisor will help you understand how your transferred coursework applies toward graduation.
Scholarships and Financial Aid
UW offers a wide range of scholarships and financial aid opportunities, including special support for transfer students.
The Wyoming Transfer Commitment is a financial pledge for in-state transfer students, offering a yearly scholarship based on GPA. Similarly, the Pokes Transfer Commitment provides a similar program for non-resident transfer students. Be sure to explore all the financial options available to you.

Start Strong with Transfer Saddle Up
