Research Areas:
Professor Deshlerās research interests are focused on in situ measurements of stratospheric aerosol, polar stratospheric clouds, and ozone, using balloon-borne instruments. These measurements have been primarily centered on the mid latitudes and polar regions with a few measurements in the tropics. The public data base for the aerosol measurements is available at . The polar ozone measurements are available from the . Dr. Deshler is currently working as a part-time research scientist at the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics, University of Colorado.
