The editors welcome contributions in all areas of the "long-eighteenth-century" culture outside North America-art, cultural studies, history, literature, music, science, and so on. To speed the reviewing process, essays sent for consideration should be e-mailed, in either Word or WordPerfect. All refereeing is done "in blind." Eighteenth-Century Life follows The Chicago Manual of Style (17th edn.), with a few house variations.
