The audition helps us decide whether you have had the background and training to be successful as a Music major. All Music majors and minors must audition to be admitted to the Music program; the audition is for both admittance and scholarships.

In addition to being reviewed by ÃÛÑ¿TV College of Arts and Sciences, the Department of Music is regularly reviewed for accreditation by the National Association of Schools of Music and the Wyoming Professional Teaching Standards Board. The undergraduate student learning outcomes for the Department of Music are developed in response to those agencies, the standards and goals of the faculty, and the needs of the students themselves.
