BSN BRAND Program
BRAND, offered through the Fay W. Whitney School of Nursing, is not only an accelerated program but also a distance program. The school is CCNE The program delivery allows WY’s rural and isolated hospitals and agencies to "grow their own" BSN-prepared nurses without relocating the student (or the families of the student) to Laramie. BRAND's 15-month 'summer to summer' program includes on-line learning, hybrid courses, and hands-on clinical experiences. The intensive curriculum focuses on didactic and clinical nursing education. BRAND requires a motivated, independent and self-disciplined learner.
All students are required to have an active CNA or LPN licensure for admission to the program. If not currently CNA certified, please explain plans for completing the certification and upload your document in the application. Proof of state board of nursing certification must be presented by May 1 or provisional acceptance to the BRAND Program will be revoked. CNA certification must remain active throughout the entire program. For RN Licensure information please see the link to the BSN Basic Program page below for more information.
