Research Interests

My research broadly examines gender norms within cultures of honor, with a specific focus on how masculinity norms and features of honor cultures (e.g., firearm accessibility) impact mental health and suicide risk. Recent publications appear in Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin, Psychology of Men and Masculinities, and Suicide and Life-Threatening Behavior.
